- Sidewalk Sale and Art Walk - Open to Members&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All  members wishing to participate in  the Sidewalk Sale and Art Walk a  week before Christmas please contact  Carol Landry at 951-303-8100. You  may bring any art that you want to  sell outside on the sidewalk in  front of the gallery. The hours will be  10:00am - 3pm on Saturday, Dec.  18.&amp;nbsp; There are A-frames in the back  room of the gallery, and anyone  may use them, but it's on a first come  basis.&amp;nbsp; There are some hooks  back there, but it would be better to bring  your own.&amp;nbsp; All the proper  ones in one package can be found in the framing  hardware department at  K-Mart for only a couple of dollars. You may bring  your own tables,  easels or displays.&amp;nbsp; Remember not to bring too much as  we are only  there for 5 hours. Bring a sack lunch.&amp;nbsp; Baked goods welcome!  Everyone  is responsible for cleanup around their area when they are  done.&amp;nbsp; All  sales must be made out to TVAL and you will get reimbursed  less the 15%  for the league. There is the Ralph Love Plein Air Festival held in Old Town Temecula, but artists here are focusing on the Temecula Valley Art League's open house for its gallery at 41789 Nicole Lane.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p  style="text-align: justify;margin-top: 5px; margin-right: 2px; margin-bottom: 13px; margin-left: 1px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; color:initial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Eighteen league members have about 100 paintings on display on the walls of the front room. It's one of a few local galleries, a sad commentary for an area that's become so urban.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p  style="text-align: justify;margin-top: 5px; margin-right: 2px; margin-bottom: 13px; margin-left: 1px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; color:initial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;Temecula fancies itself as a destination with its Wine Country, Old Town and balloon festival. Yet it was hard to find anything local from our Wine Country, Old Town, balloon festival, agriculture heritage and trademark subdivisions.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p  style="text-align: justify;margin-top: 5px; margin-right: 2px; margin-bottom: 13px; margin-left: 1px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; color:initial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;"We are lagging" in paintings of local scenes, Mulvihill says. She also took lessons from Love, who she says worked in a room that was all black. An ordained minister, she said at times he also gave sermons while painting. Art walks and juried shows are held every month. Artists must sit the gallery one time for any month that they have shrink art in the gallery.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Artists may show only their original work or reproductions and giclees of their original work.  Originals will be displayed in the main gallery.  Reproductions will be displayed in the print room.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;All shrink art must be logged into and out of  the inventory notebook.  Shrink may only be added to the gallery on art exchange days.  Please refer to the Gallery Calendar or other posts on this site for upcoming exchange dates.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The gallery has bins able to accommodate half-sheet watercolors.  All work displayed in the bins must be in clean shrink, matted and backed with cardboard.  Mats must be clean and professionally cut. Work deemed unsuitable or inappropriate by the art committee will not be shown.
